1. Profits almost doubled in 12 months: Anne Barry (sole practitioner) improved profit from $207,000 to $403,000 in just 12 months. Here is an example of the KPI results from the 07/08 financial year.
2. $220 per hour margins on everything: Matt Schlyder (three Director firm) elminated write-offs with a simple decision and now they write-on every invoice and achieve margins over $220 per hour for all work completed.
3. 133 per cent increase in hourly rate: Brian Hern and Matt Carberry (two Director firm) have taken average hourly rate from $99 to $231 and after 18 months improved profits by 324 per cent
4. Profits more than doubled: Greg Valentine and Troy Wink (two Director firm) increased profits by 161 per cent and increased revenue by 41 per cent and now all compliance work is $200 per hour in average hourly rate.
5. Profits trebled: Marc Loader (sole practitioner) increased his personal profits by 261 per cent, increased his business valuation by 212 per cent and reduced his personal productivity to 35 per cent. Along the way, his firm also improved average hourly rate from $125 to $285 – and that includes 27 per cent of write-ons.
6. 45 per cent growth: Steve Sudbury (two Directors) has grown his firm by 45 per cent with innovative marketing strategy and business development work.
